Privacy and local saves

This notice explains the features currently provided on this site and how game progress stays in your browser.

Scope

This notice covers the cuibb.top home page, information pages and the Sudoku Q web version hosted here. Games on other sites and platforms have their own notices. Games not yet integrated here are outside the current game-save description.

Progress stays on your device

Sudoku Q uses persistent browser storage for progress and necessary preferences, including the puzzle state, entered numbers, pencil notes, score and game time. The web version uses browser facilities such as IndexedDB to retain this information after a refresh or a closed tab.

This version does not provide a site account or a cloud-save upload service. Visiting the home page does not sync progress between devices. You can clear storage for cuibb.top in your browser's site-data settings; this may permanently remove local progress, so consider whether you still need it first.

Web requests and hosting

Your browser requests files from the site's hosting and edge-network provider, Alibaba Cloud ESA. To deliver content and provide network security, the provider may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and technical logs. Its policies and actual service settings apply; this notice does not promise that no logs exist or specify an unverified retention period.

The home page does not load third-party fonts, analytics, social trackers or advertising scripts. Feedback forms, email sign-ups and playtest registration are not currently provided, so the site does not collect personal details through those features. RSS subscriptions are handled by the reader you choose.

Advertising and payments

Real advertising is currently off on the pages and in Sudoku Q, and web payments are not offered. Before enabling Google ads in the future, this notice will be updated to describe advertising data, cookies or similar technology, third parties and relevant choices. Consent management will be configured where required for the intended regions. The current no-ad description will not be used to cover a future change.

Your choices

You can choose not to use the game, manage or clear site storage in your browser, or stop visiting the site. Clearing browser data, private browsing or changing browsers may affect saved progress.

Changes to this notice

This page will change when features or data practices change. Important product changes also appear in site updates. A public feedback channel is currently paused and will be described here if it opens.
